Our screenings are designed to identify children in your classroom who may benefit from early intervention to enhance their speech and language skills. Screenings are conducted right in your school setting and provide valuable insights for teachers and families.
What is a speech and language screening?
A speech and language screening is a brief assessment conducted by a licensed speech-language pathologist (SLP) to determine whether a child’s communication skills are developing as expected.
Screenings can identify signs of:
Speech sound/articulation delays
Language delays or disorders (differences in understanding or using words and sentences)
Social communication differences
Stuttering or fluency disorders
Voice disorders

How does the screening work?
Length: 15–20 minutes per child
Location: Conducted onsite at your school, preschool, or childcare center

Follow-up: Each family receives a written summary with their child’s results and recommendations for next steps
Fee:
$650+ for classroom-wide screening
$350+ for small group screening
Custom rates are available for multi-class programs or larger schools.
