Who we’re looking for:
Evidence-Based Practitioners: We value the importance of evidence-based treatment and expect our team members to be familiar with current research and best practices. The ideal candidate effectively integrates clinical expertise with research findings and client/family perspectives to deliver high-quality care. Our clinicians are continuously seeking to advance their clinical skills through ongoing learning.
Independent and Organized Clinicians: Candidates should possess strong organizational skills and the ability to manage their caseload efficiently while being an active part of our collaborative team.
Dynamic Communicators: Beyond therapeutic sessions, the role of a speech-language pathologist on our team involves meaningful interaction with parents and other professionals. The ideal candidate understands that this facet of their role is equally as important as direct therapy and aims to foster a comprehensive support network for each client.
Innovative Team Players: We seek professionals who can think outside the box, bringing fresh perspectives to their work while seamlessly integrating their efforts with the collective goals of the team.
Preferred Skills and Expertise:
Experience with and enthusiasm for supporting autistic children and/or young adults using neurodiversity-affirming practices
Experience treating individuals with childhood apraxia of speech using evidence-based treatments (e.g., DTTC, ReST)

Work Setting and Commitment:
In-home and in-clinic
5-20 hours/week (flexibility to increase hours if desired)
Salary Range:
$60-80 per clinical hour (commensurate with experience and expertise)
$20 per hour for administrative responsibilities
Mileage reimbursement for in-home therapy sessions

Key Responsibilities:
Client Communication: Efficiently handle phone calls from both prospective and current clients, ensuring their inquiries are addressed promptly and professionally
Email Management: Keep our inbox organized by managing incoming emails, responding to client queries, and forwarding messages to the appropriate team members as needed
Scheduling and Billing: Assist in organizing our team's schedule, coordinating appointments, and managing billing processes to ensure a seamless client experience
Procedure Development: Work closely with The Speech Path leadership to develop and refine standard operating procedures, contributing to the efficiency and effectiveness of our operations
Team Support: Play a key role in the training of new team members, providing them with the knowledge and tools they need to succeed
Skills and Expertise:
Proven experience in an administrative role, with a track record of excellent customer service
Strong proficiency in office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite) and the ability to learn new systems quickly
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
