"Shivani is an amazing SLP! She is so dedicated and committed to help my little boy E learn to overcome apraxia and find his own voice. Shivani is a subject matter expert in Childhood Apraxia of Speech. She customizes her approach to each individual. She is a big believer in total communication and very open to collaborate with other therapists. She is very patient and caring. I totally trust her opinions and her methods. She also teaches me how to keep practicing with E. I really like how she sets up attainable and measurable speech goals for E and make sure we all work towards the same direction. My little boy is more confident to try using different words/sounds now. I highly recommend Shivani!"

"Receiving Shivani’s information was one of the best things that happened to our family and especially our little one. Our son talks! and there was a time, as a first time mom where I wondered if and when our son would start speaking. I am pleased to say by working with Shivani, we now have a little communicator! Shivani started working with our family 8 months ago, we had been to 4 other speech therapists prior and we were not having much luck. Our son had suspected apraxia and had less than 20 words/signs at 2 years old. We had been doing online sessions with our previous pathologists and it was not working well. We were referred to Shivani through another speech pathologist and our lives were changed. Shivani came to our home and immersed herself in our space and our sons space. She spent the first session just playing with him to build trust - this was so amazing because prior to that, the speech pathologist expected our son to be on their terms but Shivani wanted our son to know she was going to be on his. The session after that they started working more on speech and very soon after, he started speaking more and more words. Our son started imitating us shortly after and now his suspected apraxia is gone and they are starting to focus on language. Our son never stops talking and I believe working with Shivani was key to that. Shivani spent time with us after each session, explaining how it went and next steps - even during zoom sessions, our son was engaged. She spent the time to find out what he liked and built the program around that. I feel so lucky that we were referred to Shivani and I’m so proud of what she’s been able to do with our son. I highly recommend Shivani and her practice.”

"Shivani is an amazing SLP, who is truly experienced in her field and understands my son’s need. She is always prepared and arrives my house on time. She is willing to do coordination of care with other SLP as well. What I adore her most is that she is always quickly getting the problems solved and the situation under control when things went off during the session. She constantly provided new or correct my son’s languages in conversation to help my son express his ideas. She is expert in pragmatic language when playing with peers. My son tends to whine when things don’t go as planned, so Shivani used social thinking to help my son THINK what level of reaction he should have to different scales of problems. It is very impressive to see how she taught my son to control his emotion by using kind words instead of whining or crying while playing board games. She also successfully taught my son in dealing with win or lose. All the methods worked amazingly on my son! Overall, it is a bless to know Shivani and working with her is one of the best experiences I ever had with therapists. I admired her professionalism and enjoyed the time she is in our house."
